RSS Stage 3 NOW AVAILABLE! for Vauxhall/Opel 1.4 Turbo Models

Regal Autosport are pleased to announce the release of our RSS Stage 3 for the Vauxhall/Opel 1.4T,

Building upon our popular RSS Stage 2 kits for the Corsa D 1.4 Turbo and Astra J 1.4 Turbo the Stage 3 kit adds more power by increasing flow from the standard turbocharger. The Stage 2 kit puts out around 170hp-180hp. The Stage 3 increases this, by increasing low down boost response, increasing peak boost and sustaining boost right up to the rev limit. Improving power across the entire rev range transforming the driving experience.

Whereby the turbo is able to produce flow high enough to allow for 225hp, we limited the power to around the 200hp figure to increase the longevity.  There are two reasons for this, the first reason is that a larger compressor wheel would require additional machining to the inlet neck, which would reduce the integrity of the walls and therefore sacrificing reliability. The second reason for this is that this particular style of Garrett turbo does not use a thrust bearing, so a 360 degree upgraded thrust bearing  was not available, also the shaft is reasonably small in diameter. We have found this stage a nice balance between reliability, power and driveability.

Rolling road testing results vs. RSS Stage 2 

The below test was carried out on the same car, but only running our RSS 3″ catless downpipe, Dbilas Intercooler Kit and K&N Panel Filter with EDS software.

Power & torque Gain Highlights:

Max Gains: +48TQ @ 3500rpm, +32HP @ 3500rpm
